Mentors and More Ministries

The Battles Are Real. You Were Never Meant to Fight Them Alone.

Counsel, discipleship, healing, and deliverance, delivered through seasoned Christian mentors, for you and the people you love.

Christ-centered mentoring and coaching for parents, families, youth, and young adults.

Our Programs

Four integrated, Christ-centered paths: choose where your family needs support, or combine them through The Launch Program.

Who We Serve

Parents and families

When a child is struggling, the whole household feels it. We coach parents and families carrying these battles together.

Youth and young adults

Mentoring for young people, including young adults struggling to launch into independent, purposeful life.

Believers who want to grow

Individual life strategy for believers who need a clear, personal plan for growth, not vague advice.

The Four Things Every Christian Needs

Through it all, we deliver the four things every Christian needs: counsel, discipleship, healing, and deliverance.

Counsel

“Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14).

Discipleship

“Go and make disciples... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).

Healing

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).

Deliverance

Jesus came “to proclaim freedom for the prisoners... to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18).

What You Will Gain

Clarity on the standard

You will know exactly what the Bible commands you to think, communicate, and do (2 Corinthians 10:5; Ephesians 4:29; James 1:22).

Eyes for the battle

You will recognize the wiles of the enemy, the pull of the flesh, and the deceptions designed to trip you up, before they take you down (Ephesians 6:11).

A personal game plan

Specific action steps, not vague advice, matched to your behavioral patterns and relational dynamics.

Consistent abiding

A clearer walk through the sanctification process and a more consistent life in Christ (John 15:5).

Allies in the trenches

Seasoned Christian mentors who work alongside you through whatever the situation is (Galatians 6:2).

Good fruit that lasts

A life bearing fruit that proves discipleship and glorifies God (John 15:8).

Why This Ministry Exists

Life is difficult. The battles are challenging, and the war is real. Jesus did not hide this from us: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). And Scripture warns us to stay alert, because “your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

No one is meant to fight alone. “Two are better than one... though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:9, 12). We all need allies and assets who help us get up, get equipped, and get running toward God's purpose for our lives.

Many believers today need more than the typical support a church alone can provide. That is where we serve.

Our Team

Everything we do is built on James Giantis's 35 plus years of leadership training and a proven system for understanding individual behavioral patterns and relational dynamics. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). No stone will be left unturned in understanding everything you need to abide in Christ on a more consistent basis: “Search me, God, and know my heart... see if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalm 139:23-24).

Our team of seasoned Christian leaders, men and women, are coaches and mentors adept at understanding exactly what the challenges are and prescribing specific action steps. This follows the biblical pattern of entrusting the faith to proven people: “The things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Timothy 2:2), with older men and women modeling and teaching what is good (Titus 2:1-8).

What Families Say

A ministry family

“We did everything we could to give our children what they needed, and yet they kept making one poor choice after another. We warned them a thousand times. It was like it didn't matter. Our family was constantly arguing or avoiding one another. We heard about James and his team from our pastor, and we are so grateful for their coaching. We all learned how to better follow Christ as individuals and to relate to one another with more love.”

A young adult mentee

“I was flailing through life. No purpose, bad decisions, no friends I could trust. Easily tempted, trapped, and tortured. Gratefully, my mom found out about Ricky. His life story, experience, and tutelage helped me see what was out of alignment in my walk as a Christian, and he guided me toward living the life God wants for me.”

A single father

“Life is full of hostility, and it is a war at times. I tried to equip my children to function in an imperfect world with imperfect people, and yet I kept failing, reacting to their opposition or laziness, and contributing to their addictive, entitled ways. Blessedly, my therapist led me to James, Jesse, and Valerie. With some effort, humbleness, and education, we all learned how to better communicate and to avoid the typical obstacles to fighting the good fight.”

Our Foundation

We train to a clear biblical standard for what we think, communicate, and do (2 Corinthians 10:5; Ephesians 4:29; James 1:22). And we train you to see the obstacles clearly: the wiles of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11-12), the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:17; 1 John 2:16), and the deception of our own hearts (Jeremiah 17:9).

Growth requires role modeling, teaching, guidance, feedback, and even discipline, delivered with the proper balance of truth and grace, in the right way, from the right person (John 1:14; Ephesians 4:15; Hebrews 12:11; Proverbs 27:17).

The sanctification process is real, and it is a process, not a moment (1 Thessalonians 4:3; Philippians 1:6; 2 Corinthians 3:18). The aim is not information. It is transformation into more obedient followers of Christ who bear good fruit. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

For Friends and Family Who Do Not Yet Believe

This ministry is also available to friends and family members who are not yet believers or followers. They receive good, solid fellowship, guidance, life lessons, and teachings, all pointing toward the need for a Lord and Savior in Jesus, whether they choose to accept Him or not. “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve” (Joshua 24:15). “How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” (Romans 10:14). We simply make sure they hear, with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15), and leave the choice where it belongs.

Why This Is a Paid Ministry

An honest question deserves an honest answer. First, we need to live, and Scripture affirms this plainly: “The worker deserves his wages” (Luke 10:7; 1 Timothy 5:18), and “the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel” (1 Corinthians 9:14).

Second, this is an advanced calling. We work in the trenches with people who genuinely need more than the typical support of a church: sustained, personal, hands-on discipleship through real crises and real strongholds. That depth of care requires trained people who can give it their full devotion.

Access for Every Family

We have several programs for individuals, youth, and families who cannot afford our rates. And we keep this ministry fully available to the relatively affluent, who need it just as much. “Rich and poor have this in common: the Lord is the Maker of them all” (Proverbs 22:2). The battles do not check your bank account, and neither do we before we take your call.

Ready when you are

Walk in God's Purpose

You were not saved to survive. “We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). Our whole ministry exists to get you up, equipped, and living with intention in God's purpose for your life, bearing good fruit that lasts.
